Benefit Now From Support Package 5 for SAP NetWeaver MDM 7.1

Following the path that has started with SAP NetWeaver MDM 7.1 SP 04, the brand-new Support Package 5 offers additional benefit from integrating SAP NetWeaver MDM with BPM for collaborative MDM scenarios in heterogeneous, multiple-system contexts. In particular, it provides extended flexibility with regards to the master data management UIs, providing additional WebDynpro components for matching, comparing and merging records. 

From a process perspective in a customer data creation process, a typical flow in determining duplicate data can be as follows:

In addition, there are enhancements in the MDM workflow (additional step), and enhanced SAP BusinessObjects Data Services blueprints for SAP NetWeaver MDM use cases (e.g. address cleansing) using the MDM Enrichment Architecture. For example, there is specific business content for vendorand customer data to directly interact with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services dataflows, which reduces the implementation time significantly.
